Vehicles
About an hour for a typical cabin, including vents and the cabin filter. Heavy cigar use or long-term smoking can push it to two.
A single room or apartment
One to two hours in most cases. The variable is soft goods: a carpeted bedroom with drapes takes longer than a tiled studio.
A whole house
Two to four hours for most Dallas homes under 3,000 square feet. Add time if the attic, garage or duct system is involved.
Fire and soot
This is a different job. Soot has to be physically removed and unsalvageable materials pulled before odor work is meaningful, so plan in days, not hours.
